June 1: New Moon Energy, Birthday Intentions
Today’s my birthday. And maybe I’m biased, but Gemini season always feels electric—curious, expansive, full of motion. This year, the new moon in Gemini arrived just a few days ago on May 26, and its energy is still very much in the air. We’re in the early waxing moon now—a time to begin, gently. A time to name what we want.
The last full moon was in Scorpio—emotional, intense, unflinching. It asked us to let go. Now the moon is growing again, and the invitation is different: what do you want to grow into?
This past year was full of dualities (of course it was—I’m a Gemini). Joy and ache. Endings and openings. Stillness and change. Through all of it, I kept coming back to adornment. Not just for beauty—but for grounding. Jewelry became a way to hold onto something real. A reminder of who I’ve been, and who I’m becoming.
